Whispering Wind Academy Parent Groups

Whispering Wind has two parent groups that help support the School-Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) and the Mandarin Parent Organization (MPO). Both groups meet together once a month on a Tuesday at 5:00pm. See the school calendar for dates.

PTSO Mission

The PTSO's mission is to promote activities that benefits our students, teachers, parents and staff. The PTSO encourages open communication and school spirit and are dedicated to enhancing and maximizing the education of every child.

How to become a member?

You're automatically a member! All parents and guardians of children attending our school, as well as each member of the professional staff are a part of the PTSO.

Why get involved?

Getting involved in your child's school has long-lasting, positive effects on both their academic performance and their overall attitude about school. Volunteering doesn't mean a huge time commitment. Whatever your time schedule allows, we have need for you!

4. Search for Whispering Wind Academy PTSO.

5. Select Whispering Wind Academy PTSO from the list and click “Save”.

6. Your selected organization will also display in the Fry’s Community Rewards section of your account. If you need to review or revisit your organization, you can always do so under your Account details.

Mandarin Parent Organization

MPO Mission

The MPO's mission is to support the Mandarin Dual Language Immersion (DLI) and world language programs at Whispering Wind Academy. The group raises funds to help support teachers and curriculum in the DLI or world language classroom.
